INCO revises dates for dividend payments

Publicly listed nickel producer PT International Nickel Indonesia Tbk (INC0) announced on Wednesday that the semi-annual interim 2004 dividend will be paid to the shareholders registered on the company record as of November 9, 2004 not November 8 as reported earlier, Harian Ekonomi Neraca newspaper reported in its Thursday edition.

And the exchange rate will be used to pay the divided amount based on the Bank Indonesia's middle rate on November 9 not November 8.

Earlier the company announced in a press release that it approved a semi-annual interim 2004 dividend of $0.0125 per share, payable on November 25, 2004 to shareholders of record as of November 8, 2004.

The dividend of US$0.0125 per share is equivalent to a dividend of $0.05 per share prior to the split of the company?s shares on a four-for-one basis effective August 3, 2004. Indonesian shareholders will be paid in the rupiah equivalent of the U.S. dollar amount, while foreign shareholders will be paid in U.S. dollars.(*)
