Inco sees Indonesian output down in 2002

Canadian nickel miner Inco Limited said on Tuesday that nickel production from its Indonesian unit PT Inco Tbk. Would be lower in 2002 due to the acceleration of a scheduled furnace rebuild that it will begin in the fourth quarter of 2002.
The 2001 production date was not available.
The company said the rebuild is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2003.
PT Inco Tbk operates nickel mine in South and Central Sulawesi. (alex)
