India Cements close to acquire Indonesian coal mine

Indian firm India Cements is in the process of acquiring an Indonesian coal mine to feed its coal requirements.

?The mine has passed technical due-diligence. The legal due diligence remains to be undertaken. We expect the entire process of acquiring the coal mine to be completed over the next six months,? N Srinivasan, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of India Cements said as quoted by media.

The company did not give detail about the mine?s location.(*)
