India interested in buying two tons of LNG per year from Indonesia

President of oil and gas company Pertamina Baihaki Hakim said on Tuesday Indonesia was interested in buying two tons of Indonesian liquefied natural gas (LNG) per year.

Baihaki also said on the sidelines of the ministerial meeting of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) in Vienna that Indonesia and Algiers have been discussing the potential cooperation in expanding LNG business in Europe.

He also said Libya had expressed intentions to form partnership with Pertamina to develop alternative exploration technology.

He said Pertamina would send experts to the countries to follow up on the talks and Pertamina was likely to establish a representative office in the Middle East. (*)
