India?s Agarwal sees increase coal import

India?s Madhya Pradesh-based firm Agarwal Coal Cooperation Pvt. Ltd said that it has imported 7-8 million tonnes of coal during 2010 from overseas including Indonesia, the company?s official told Petromindo.Com last week.

?Of the total, around 70 percent the coal is sourced from Indonesia,? the official said without naming the coal suppliers. The remaining is sourced from South Africa

The company is expected to increase around 10-20 percent coal import for this year, including from Indonesia, the official added. (denny)
