India?s Archean seeks more coal mine acquisition

India?s diversified industrial conglomerate Archean Group through its Indonesian coal firm is looking for another coal mine acquisition, Archean?s official said last week.
Archean is pursuing more coal mines even the mine is still greenfiled, the official said.
At the present, Archean is producing around 1.5 million tonnes of coal from its Bengkulu and East Kalimantan mines. According to the official, next year, the company is planning to produce around 2 million tonnes, which 90% of its target is coming from its Kalimantan mine.
Archean has a coal mine in Kutai Kartanegara regency under mining license (IUP) of PT Bara Kumala Sakti. (denny)
