India's STC opens thermal coal tender

NOTICE
INVITING OFFER FOR SUPPLY OF IMPORTED COAL
The State Trading Corporation of India Limited invites offers from bidders, who fulfil the qualifying criteria for supply of 1.9 million MTs imported coal for delivery at various NTPC thermal power plants over a period of four months starting from November, 2005. The bids are invited in two parts bidding system, i.e., Technical Bid and Price Bid.
Detailed terms and conditions including specifications of thermal coal, delivery schedule & place of delivery alongwith approximate quantity, qualifying criteria, Earnest Money, etc. are available in the Tender documents which can be collected from Shri C.M. Kalra, Marketing Manager, STC of India Limited, Room No.1002A, 10th floor Annexe, Jawahar Vyapar Bhavan, Tolstoy Marg, New Delhi-110 001 (Tel:23711372-Direct, PBX:23313177 Extn.2400). The detailed Tender documents are also available on STC?s website www.stc.gov.in which can also be downloaded. The last date of submission of offers is 20th October 2005 upto 1430 hours.
STC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason and STC?s decision in this regard will be final and binding.
