India?s Thriveni to start Jambi coal production in Nov

Indian firm Thriveni Earthmovers Private Ltd.,, through its Indonesian coal unit PT Thriveni plans to start commercial production in November this year at Jambi mine with an output of 50,000 tons per month, the company?s official said.

The mine, located in Sarolangun regency, has obtained IUP production. The coal has calorific value of 5,300 kcal/kg (ADB) with reserve around 15-20 million tons, the company?s officer Nataran Murugesan told Petromindo.com on Wednesday.

The coal output so far don?t have any offtakers, he added. (denny)
