Indian firm in talks to buy Apexindo

Indian oilfield services firm Aban Loyd Chiles Offshore Ltd. said on Thursday it was in talks to acquire a 51.97 percent stake in Indonesian offshore and onshore drilling contractor PT Apexindo Pratama Duta Tbk, agency reported .
Aban said the price of the acquisition was under discussion but did not give further details.
Apexindo is a subsidiary of JSX-listed oil firm PT Medco Energi International Tbk.(*)
