Indian firm secures Indonesian long-term coal supply

Indian firm Sarda Energy & Minerals (SEML) announced that it has, through its wholly owned subsidiary based in Singapore, entered into long term arrangements to buy coal originating from mines in Indonesia with a provision for sharing of economic benefits.

It did not give detail.

SEML is one of the lowest cost producers of steel (sponge iron, billets, ingots, TMT bars) and one of the largest manufacturers and exporters of ferro alloys in India. Headquartered in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. (alex)
