Indika mulls solar power plant project

IDX-listed integrated energy company PT Indika Energy Tbk is considering to develop a solar power plant project, and is currently conducting a study.

?We?re interested in renewables, one of which is solar panel. But this (project) will take time, we must know the technology and the regulations. We?re now in the study stage,? President Director of Indika Arsjad Rasjid told Petromindo.com recently.

He added that it is essential for the government to issue favorable regulatory environment to help lure investment in the solar power plant sector in the country.

He did not provide further details.
