Indo Straits bags transshipment contract from Arutmin

Integrated sea engineering and logistic firm PT.Indo Straits Tbk (PTIS) has accepted a letter of intent (LOI) from South Kalimantan coal miner PT. Arutmin Indonesia to hire PTIS? floating crane, for transshipping with a minimum quantity of 2.4 million tonnes of coal over an initial period of 6 months, commencing tentatively in September 2011, at Arutmin?s mine production area in Satui - South Kalimantan.

The deal also allows for option for another 6 month contract extension following the end of the initial 6 months period, the company said.
