Indo Straits gets $10m contract

IDX-listed PT Indo Straits Tbk announced Friday that on Oct. 1, 2014, the company and a multi-national trading company in bulk commodities signed an Agreement For Floating Crane, in which the company has been awarded and assigned to provide coal transhipment transportation services from barges to mother vessel in East Kalimantan, with minimum, quantity of 400,000 MT per month.
This contract shall be effective for 15 months commencing from the signing date of the contract, and subject to option for another 12 months extension. The value of this Contract is almost US$10 million.
The firm did not name the trading company.
Indo Straits has over 28 years of experiences in providing services in the fields of integrated marine (including transshipment, dredging, marine construction and lifting services) and logistic support services to the resources industry.
?We are therefore well positioned and confident of our ability to deliver the best services to that multi-national trading company in bulk commodities so that the business relationship between the multi-national trading company in bulk commodities and the Company will remain interminably continued in the future,? the firm said.
