Indo Straits obtains dredging, lifting works contract from Total

IDX-listed marine engineering company PT Indo Straits Tbk announced that the company and Total E&P Indonesie signed a Fax of Intent (FOI), in which the company has been awarded with a direct appointment by Total to provide dredging and lifting works services to the latter firm in East Kalimantan area with commencement date from June 16, 2014.
The contract value of this project is around US$490,000, Indo Straits said in a statement on Wednesday.
?By signing the FOI, it is obvious that the company is qualified to provide its best services to this world-class oil company based in French. This is another remarkable milestone for the company given that Total has been a long standing esteemed client of the company in marine engineering works of more than 25 years,? the statement said.
