Indo Straits secures dredging services contract from Chevron

PT Indo Straits Tbk, an integrated marine engineering and logistic services provider firm listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange, said it has on February 23, signed a contract with Chevron Indonesia Company (CIC) for the Penajam Supply Base canal dredging service, in Penajam Paser Utara Regency, East Kalimantan province.

Based on that contract, the company will provide the dredging services in Penajam for a six months period starting from the contract date February 23 up to August 22, 2012 with value of US$989,000

Indo Straits has already had experiences and capabilities in this line of works, as in 2002, the company was also appointed for similar undertaking by Unocal Indonesia, a company that has since been taken over by CIC.
