IDX-listed coal shipment firm PT Indo Straits Tbk said it is targeting to transport a minimum of 2.5 million tons of coal next year, roughly the same volume as this year.
The company has 10 units of barges and tug boats to meet that target, said Commissioner Dwi Suseno to Petromindo.com in Jakarta on Friday during a public expose.
?The 2.5 million tons target is a slight increase from this year's volume of 2.4 million tons of coal," Dwi said, adding that the company also has 2 units of floating crane for transshipment.
"For our cranes, the volume target for coal transshipment is at 10 million tons, about 1 million tons more than this year's volume."
The firm targets US$40 million in revenue for next year. This year's revenue is estimated to reach $36.7 million.
