Indo Straits to increase volume of coal transportation

IDX-listed integrated marine and logistic service provider PT. Indo Straits Tbk is eying to ramp up volume of coal transportation to 9.5 million tons this year, a sharp increase from last year's figure of 6 million tons.
"We will continue seeking for new potential clients to meet the target," President Commissioner Richard Ong told Petromindo.com.
Indo Straits, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Singapore-incorporated Straits Corporation Pte Ltd, also targeted to increase revenue to US$50 million this year compared with $44.9 million in 2012.
"The targeted revenue will come from all business units of Indo Straits from shipping and logistic services in oil and gas and coal mining industries," he said.
