Indocopper pays dividends

PT Indocopper Investama Tbk. has allocated almost all the net profit it collected last year, or 99.5 percent of the profit, to pay dividend for shareholders.

Indocopper Investama president Paulce D. Wenas said that the company had allocated 99.5 percent of Rp 263.14 billion in net profit booked last year for dividend payment. "The remaining 0.5 percent of profit would be used as reserve fund to finance our operation and investment."

With that amount of money, the company would pay dividend of Rp 12.202 per share.

Indocopper Investama paid dividend for profits booked in every quarter last year, or four times last year.

For the first quarter, the dividend was paid out on May 19, 2000, totaling Rp 5.22 billion. For the second quarter, the dividend was distributed on August 21, 2000, totaling Rp 132.1 billion. For the third quarter, the company paid out the dividend on Nov. 15, 2000, totaling Rp 35.64 billion. Meanwhile, the dividend payment for the profit booked in the fourth quarter was paid out on Feb. 9, 2001, totaling Rp 88.47 billion. (*)
