At least four gas purchase agreements will be signed Monday, the first day of 2013 IndoGas Conference and Exhibition in Jakarta, according to SKK Migas Chairman Rudi Rubiandini.
One of the deals is between PT Panca Amara Utama (PAU), a subsidiary of Indonesia?s only listed LPG refiner PT Surya Esa Perkasa, who purchases gas from Joint Operating Body (JOB) Pertamina Medco Tomori Sulawesi. Rudi did not mention the figures, but previous reports said that PAU may get 55 mmscfd of gas supply from the JOB for US$8.60 per mmbtu.
The other three deals are between PT Energi Mega Persada and PT PLN?s Pekanbaru area, PT Medco EP and PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (second amendment), as well as between PT Medco EP and PT Metaepsi Pejebe Power Generation (Mepoggen).
The conference, to be held until January 23, is the sixth event where natural gas industry executives and professionals in the region gather.
