The IndoMet coking coal project in Maruwai, Central Kalimantan, is expected to begin trial production in the early part of 2014, according to a senior official.
?The info I got from BHP Billiton, the project is likely to start production either at the end of this year or early 2014. But it will still be a trial production,? Garibaldi Thohir, President Director of Adaro Energy, told Petromindo.com Wednesday.
The IndoMet coal project is 75 percent owned by BHP Billiton, while the remaining 25 percent is held by Adaro. The project is located in a concession having estimated resources of 774 million tons of coking coal.
