Indominco buys equipment from Banpu worth $8.39m

IDX-listed coal mining company PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk announced Wednesday that its subsidiary PT Indominco Mandiri has purchased several mining equipment and parts from Thailand-based conglomerate Banpu Public Company Ltd, the major shareholder of the company, in a transaction worth US$8.39 million.

The purchased equipment and parts include semi mobile crusher 'MMD' 4500 TPH 1300 series, twin shaft sizer type, completed unit with accessories S/N 7060090 and 7060091 (Used), transport crawler "Takraf" model RT 250 completed unit with accessories (used) and parts of conveyor system (new) comprising of: control system (PLC & ace) with safety devices; power system for conveyor system ax unit of sub station 20/20 kV; return station system; and belt frame and accessories.

Indo Tambangraya said that the equipment and parts were needed to help execute mining activities at the Indominco 25,121-hectare concessions in East Kalimantan.
