Indomining aims to increase 2013 coal output

East Kalimantan coal miner PT Indomining (IM), a coal unit of IDX-listed PT Toba Bara Sejahtra, aims to increase its coal output to 1.5-1.8 million tons in 2013 from 1 million tons in 2012, according to an industry source.
The source also told Petromindo.com that the company is hopeful to get its mining production operation license (or known locally as IUP Operasi Produksi) extension by end of this quarter of 2013.
The company is in the process of renewing the license that will extend its license until 2023. The current license will expire in June 2013.
The company?s mine is located in Kutai Kartanegara regency, which started production in 2007. The company produces coal with CV of 5,700 Kcal/kg (GAR) with total sulphur 0.9%.
