Indomobil Group, through its coal mining services unit PT Prima Sarana Gemilang (PSG), revised downward its 2013 coal production target to 2.4 million tons from 3 million tons.

?We made the revision because the coal market condition has yet to recover,? Assistant to President Director for CV-HDTE & Mining Operations at Indomobil, Bambang Prijono told Petromindo.com Tuesday.

He said that the coal output will come from two mining pits at the mining concession owned by sister company PT Nusantara Berau Coal in Berau Regency, East Kalimantan. ?The plan is for the first pit to produce 1.4 million tons and the second pit 1 million tons.?

Indomobil Group began to develop the coal concession of Nusantara Berau Coal in early 2011. The two companies are owned by the well-diversified Salim Group.
