IDX-listed PT Indomobil Sukses Internasional Tbk via its coal mining services subsidiary PT Prima Sarana Gemilang (PSG) in the first half of this year has produced about 40 percent of the full-year production target of 2.5 million tons from two coal mining pits at the concession of affiliated company PT Nusantara Berau Coal in Berau Regency, East Kalimantan.

Bambang Prijono, Assistant to President Director of Indomobil, told Petromindo.com Tuesday that the production result was made amid extreme weather condition during April.

?Going forward, amid the lingering poor coal price, we?ll try to reduce the stripping ratio in the operation of our mines,? Bambang added.

Indomobil has been developing the Nusantara Berau Coal concession since 2011. The two companies are part of the Salim Group conglomerate.
