Indonesia crude output rises to 1.13 M BPD in May: Report

Indonesia's crude oil production rose slightly to 1.13 million barrels per day (BPD) in May from 1.12 million bpd in April, industry sources was quoted by Reuters as saying Monday.
"Some oil fields have produced a little bit more while output in some other fields has remained stable or lower. May crude output is about 1.13 million bpd and condensate is 140,000 BPD," one source said.
Indonesia produced 1.12 million BPD of crude oil and 137,000 BPD of condensate in April.
Another source said Caltex Pacific Indonesia -- Indonesia's biggest oil contractor that accounts for about half the country's oil output -- produced about 615,000 bpd in May.
Caltex, owned by Chevron Texaco produced 616,000 BPD in April.
Indonesia, Asia's only OPEC member, has a quota of 1.125 million BPD from the cartel. (*)
