Indonesia expects further cooperation with China energy sector

During his recent visit to Beijing, Indonesian Minister for Energy and Mineral Resources Purnomo Yusgiantoro as quoted by Asia Pulse said that Sino-Indonesian cooperation in the energy sector looks promising.

Purnomo Yusgiantoro said that a quarter of Indonesia's trade with China is energy related, and that it will continue its cooperation with China.

On the possibility of Indonesian state oil company Pertamina becoming Guangdong's LNG supplier, the minister said that the company had competitive prices and could provide sufficient resources. (*)
