Indonesia exports 1 cargo of LNG to Thailand

Indonesia has shipped 1 cargo of LNG, or equivalent with 125,000 MT, to Thailand, upstream oil and gas regulator BPMIGAS?s chairman said on Wednesday.

"The LNG has been shipped and arrived yesterday in Thailand. The LNG came from Tangguh," R. Priyono said after a meeting with the House of Representatives' Commission XI.

Priyono said that the LNG shipment was an emergency to help deal with a pipe gas leakage problem in that country and so far Indonesia had yet to receive additional

BPMIGAS spokesman Elan Biantoro added that the LNG was sold to Thailand's oil and gas company PTT Public Company Limited at a price of USD 14-15/MMBTU. (godang/giok)
