Indonesia has failed to supply to South Korea between three and five cargoes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) which were part of the 10 cargoes for this year?s supply contract signed with Korea Gas (Kogas), a senior official of state oil and gas firm Pertamina said on Thursday.
Pertamina downstream director Muchsin Bahar said the LNG supply default had been due to troubles on pipelines in Bontang, East Kalimantan, which transmit natural gas to area LNG plant.
Muchsin said Pertamina was in negotiation with Petronas on the possibility of the Malaysian energy company to supply 3-5 cargoes of LNG to the Korean buyer. ?Petronas seems to be willing to do it,? Muchsin told reporters.
Muchsin said Pertamina and Kogas would discuss about their LNG supply and purchase contract. (godang)
