Indonesia crude oil production rose slightly to 1.13 million barrels per day (BPD) in February from 1.10 million bpd in January, according to industry sources quoted by Reuters on Monday.

``Indonesia's crude oil production has good prospects at the moment. Crude output rose slightly to 1.13 million bpd in February from 1.10 million in January, while condensate output fell to 144,000 bpd from 147,000 bpd,'' one source said.

Another source said PT Caltex Pacific Indonesia, owned by ChevronTexaco, produced 606,000 bpd in February, compared to 610,000 bpd in January.

Caltex is a key contributor to Indonesia's oil and gas reliant economy, accounting for about half the country's crude output.

Indonesia, Asia's only OPEC member, has a quota of 1.125 million bpd from the cartel.(*)
