Indonesia-Korea Energy forum produces 3 MoUs

Three initial agreements were inked during the 6th Indonesia-Korea Energy Forum in Bali held at the end of April, a gathering aimed largely at forging better cooperation in the development of Indonesia?s gas infrastructure facilities.
The signed initial deals are:
1. MoU on cooperation in the field of CNG vehicle & synthetic natural gas related Industries between Lemigas, Pertamina Trans Kontinental and KITECH
2. MoU on joint feasibility on study Mini LNG for inter-island transportation between PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN), Korea Register of Shipping and Daewoo shipbuilding & Marine Engineering.
3. MoA on power business development collaboration between PT Pertamina and SK E&S.
Further discussions will be held in the foreseeable future among related parties to materialize the deals, a statement from the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry on Wednesday.
The forum, which was opened on April 29 by Deputy Minister Susilo Siswoutomo, was attended by top executives from the two countries? regulatory bodies and business players.
