Indonesia meets LNG delivery commitment for 2011

Upstream oil and gas regulator BPMIGAS said liquefied natural gas (LNG) producers in the country will meet all their commitment to send liquefied natural gas (LNG) to overseas buyers for 2011 period.
BPMIGAS division head for public relation Gde Pradnyana told Petromindo.com that this year LNG producers are committed to deliver a total of 172 LNG cargoes to Japan, 68 cargoes to South Korea, 32 cargoes to Taiwan, 35 cargoes to China and 55 cargoes to the United States.
?Our policy is to produce LNG to meet supply commitment with buyers, not based on market condition on the spot market. We will only sell LNG on the spot market if buyers decline to execute its purchase commitment,? Gde Pradnyana said.
He said such commitment will continue in years to come. (godang)
