Indonesia Petroleum to rename itself INPEX

Indonesia Petroleum Ltd., a Japanese governmental oil and natural gas resources development firm, said Thursday it will rename itself INPEX Corp. on Saturday, according to Kyodo News
.
The company announced in June that it planned to change its name to INPEX but did not say when.
The company, which is 50% owned by the governmental Japan National Oil Corp., began its business in Indonesia but now operates worldwide. (*)
