Indonesia Power, Adaro in coal supply talks

PT.Indonesia Power, a wholly-owned subsidiary of state electricity firm PLN said on Monday it was in talks with South Kalimantan coal producer PT.Adaro Indonesia over coal supply contract to its Suralaya coal-fired power plant in Banten.

CEO Tonny Agus Mulyantono told Petromindo.Com on that both parties are close to ink 500,000 tonnes per annum long-term supply deal. He said once the deal is signed, Adaro is expected to start shipment in 2009.
