Indonesia Power opens coal supply PQ tender for Suralaya

PT. Indonesia Power, a subsidiary of state electricity firm PLN, announced on Tuesday the opening of pre-qualification tender to seek long-term coal suppliers for its Suralaya 3,400-MW power plant in Banten province.

The company invites miners with experience to supply coal to power plants and has supply capacity of minimum of 1 million tonnes per annum to participate in the tender.

The company said that the supply would start this year, but it did not say the volume of coal required.(denny)
