Indonesia Power opens spot coal tender for Suralaya

PT. Indonesia Power, a unit of state electricity firm PLN which runs the 3,400-MW Suralaya power plant in Banten province is opening limited spot tender to supply 405,000 tons of coal, an industry source said.
The source said the coal tendered was meant for November 2004-January 2005 delivery.
The source said four coal producers namely PTBA, Berau Coal, Kideco and Arutmin Indonesia were invited to participate in the tender. (godang)
