Indonesia Power opens spot coal tender for Suralaya

PLN?s subsidiary PT.Indonesia Power announced on Thursday spot coal tender for its 3,400-MW Suralaya power plant in Banten.

The company said it sought suppliers to supply 1-2 barges of 8,000 tonnes of coal for November and December 2008 shipments.

The company sought coal with minimum CV of 4,600Kcal/kg (AR) with offered price of RP.750,000 (US$=Rp.9,700) per tonne at CV of 5,000 Kcal/kg (AR).

Registration for interested supplier would be opened through October 31, 2008 at the company?s head office in Jakarta. (denny)
