Indonesia Power plans two small scale coal-fired power plants

PT Indonesia Power, a subsidiary of state-owned electricity firm PT PLN, plans to construct two small scale coal-fired power plants in Central Sulawesi and East Kalimantan, according company?s tender announcement on Friday.

Indonesia Power said the Palu, Central Sulawesi and Nunukan, East Kalimantan power projects are designed to have a capacity of 2x10 megawatts (MW) and 2x6 MW, respectively.

Indonesia Power said it was seeking for consultancy firm to carry out feasibility study, environmental assessment study, and prepare document tender for the proposed projects at a budget of Rp 500.000.000 per each project. (Robert)
