PT Indonesia Power (IP), a subsidiary of state electricity firm PT PLN (Persero) said that the coal inventory stock for its 3,400 MW Suralaya coal-fired power plant is safe despite current bad weather.
?Our coal stock is enough for 25 days, there is no disruption on loading activity so far, despite bad weather,? IP?s President Director, Djoko Hastowo told Petromindo.com on Thursday.
Main coal supplier to Suralaya is state-owned coal miner PT Bukit Asam (Persero) Tbk. Bukit Asam supplies Suralaya power plant with 6.1 million tonnes of coal per annum with a plus minus 10 percent swing.
