Chairman of the Indonesian Mining Association (IMA) Martiono Hadianto said that the country is ready to supply coal to Myanmar to generate power plants to be built by Indonesia there.

The statement was made following the recent deal between the governments of Indonesia and Myanmar on Indonesia's participation in building coal-fired power plants in Myanmar, in which Myanmar demands that the coal supply from Indonesia.

"We have abundant amount of coal. We are the world's biggest thermal coal producer. We have enough coal to be supplied (to Myanmar)," Martiono told Petromindo.com as saying after speaking at Ozmine 2013 Australian mining conference in Jakarta Wednesday.
