Indonesia remains Leighton?s Asia largest contributor

Australian engineering group Leighton Holdings Limited said on Thursday that it currently held in excess of A$ 1billion of work in hand, down from $ 1.4 billion last year. Despite the decrease, said Leighton, Indonesia remained Leghton?s largest contributor in Asia.

Leighton also said its subsidiary Thiess Indonesia?s activities in four coalmines in Klaimantan performed strongly during the year, while contract mining for its other subsidiary Leighton Asia continued in Anugrah Bara KaltimLoa Janan, Bahari Cakrawala Sebuku and Malinau coal mines in Kalimantan.
