The production of Indonesia's oil production dropped to 1.070 million barrels per day in February from about 1.081 million barrels in January due to the increase in the water content of the crude oil produced from several fields, Koran Tempo reported on Saturday.
Director for Exploration at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Novian Thayib, said that in February, Indonesian produced about 942,000 barrels of crude oil per day and 128,000 barrels of condensate per day.
The February production was lower than the production level in January, which reached 952,600 barrels per day for crude oil and 128,800 for condensate.
