Indonesia’s crude oil production reaches 576,700 bopd in Jan-Apr, below 2026 target

Upstream oil, gas regulator SKK Migas reported Indonesia’s average crude oil production reached 576,700 barrels of oil per day (bopd) in the January-April 2026 period, below the state budget target of 610,000 bopd.
Deputy for Exploitation Surya Widyantoro disclosed the figure during a hearing with Commission XII of the House of Representatives on Thursday.

Surya said all domestically produced crude oil remains prioritized for domestic needs in line with instructions from President Prabowo Subianto.
Indonesia’s crude oil production in 2025 averaged 605,000 bopd, in line with the target set in the state budget, according to SKK Migas.
The government has been seeking to increase domestic oil and gas production as part of broader efforts to strengthen national energy security and reduce reliance on imported fuel.
