Indonesia?s crude output falls in October

Indonesian crude oil production fell to 1.10 million barrels per day (bpd) in October from 1.22 million the previous month, an industry sources was quoted by Dow Jones as saying Monday.
"Production in some oilfields began to dry up as a natural process. Crude production is 1.1 million bpd and condensate also fell to 132,000 bpd," one source said.
"Security problems caused some oilfield development to be delayed. These criminal acts also affect the production."
Indonesia produced 1.22 million bpd of crude oil and 150,000 bpd of condensate in September.
Another source said Caltex Pacific Indonesia, the country's biggest oil contractor, produced about 630,000 bpd in October, compared with 650,000 in September.
Caltex is owned by the recently merged ChevronTexaco Corp .
Indonesia is Asia's only OPEC member and has a production quota of 1.20 million bpd from the cartel.(*)
