Indonesia, S. Korean firms team up to build Bintan power plant

Local firms team up with South Korean firms will start construction of 3x30-MW coal-fired power plant in Bintan island near Batam next year.
The consortium would comprise of Stx Energy and Kepco from South Korea and Indika Energy and PT.Bintan Power Plant (BPP), BPP President was quoted by Kompas daily.
The consortium which currently has completed the project?s feasibility study, would invest US$150 million for the project. (*)
