Indonesia to directly import crude from Libya

State oil and gas company Pertamina said Friday it was planning to import crude oil directly from Libya.

The company?s president Baihaki told reporters that Pertamina would also open a representative office in Libya to begin oil exploration.

Currently, Indonesia imports crude oil from Libya through Dubai, but plans to cut out the transit point, Baihaki said. (*)
