Indonesia to seek invest for unleaded gasoline reformers

Indonesia wants to build reformer units at its refineries to produce unleaded gasoline in a bid to cut pollution.

Monday, the Economy, Finance and Industry Ministry said the government will seek a total of $190 million dollars in outside investment for the project.

The government will soon hold an open tender to select investors to build the reformer units, it added, but no specifics of the process were available.

Jakarta, the nation's capital, is considered one of the most polluted cities in the world. (*)
