Indospec withdraws from EOR project in Limau

Indospec Energy Limau Ltd has backed down from the EOR-Tertiary Recovery (Chemical Flooding) project in the area of Section P, Q22, A51 Structure Operation in Limau field, South Sumatra province, an industrial source said.

The firm withdrew from the project on March 1, 2016.

The withdrawal of the firm has forced PT Pertamina EP to review the EOR scenario for the development of Limau to see whether it will handle the project by itself or look for another partner to handle it, the sources said.

PEP officially took over the operation of Limau on April 28, 2016, the source said.
