Inovisi secures Rp 234b contract to build power grids

IDX-listed mobile application service providers PT Inovisi Infracom Tbk, through its subsidiary QDC Engineering, has secured contract worth Rp 234 billion from state owned electricity company PT PLN to build power transmissions.
The company?s corporate secretary Benita Sofia said in Jakarta on Friday that the power grids would be installed in five locations. The installation work which will be started early next year will be completed in a year.
The company also expected to win two more contracts worth about Rp 110 billion to install similar power transmission which would be put to tender next year.
Meanwhile, President Director of PT Inovisi, Jerry Djasaputra, said that QDC Engineering would join a tender to build an independent power plant (IPP) with a capacity of between 10 and 20 MW. The company expects to invest about $600 million in engineering business between 2011 and 2015, he added. (giok)
