Inpex opens Masela FLNG FEED PQ tender

Inpex Masela Limited, a unit of Japan?s Inpex Corp. that operates Masela offshore gas block in Arafura Sea announced on Friday PQ tender for FEED and Post FEED for Masela Floating LNG project.
According to the announcement posted on Friday, the company will execute three FEED contracts in the form of design competition and one of the three FEED contractors will perform EPCI work and certain support services in the production phase (Post FEED work).
Inpex is planning to develop a floating LNG plant with initial capacity of 2.5 MTPA, which is expected to become onstream in 2018..(alex)
