INPEX targets FID for Masela in 2018

Japanese firm INPEX Corporation has targeted to make Final Investment Decision (FID) for the Abadi gas field in the Masela Block, Arafura Sea (Abadi LNG Project) in 2018.

"An important point in the revised POD of Abadi project that has been submitted to SKK Migas is that INPEX will make FID (for the project) in 2018,," Chairman of SKK Migas Amien Sunaryadi said in Jakarta.

Amien said he expected to sign the POD this week.

"The team of SKK Migas has finished reviewing the revised POD of the Abadi project from various aspects. Still, I have yet to sign the POD," he said.
